About the Role

RBTs are the people children see most. You work one-on-one with a child, in their home, at our St. Peters clinic or in the community, following a treatment plan written by your BCBA and teaching the communication, social and daily-living skills that make the biggest difference to a family.

You do not have to be certified to apply. Qualified applicants get training and support through RBT certification, and every RBT has a BCBA behind them for supervision, feedback and help with hard sessions.

New to the field? Read our guide: How to Become an RBT in Missouri.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver one-on-one ABA sessions that follow each child’s treatment plan
  • Teach communication, social, play and daily-living skills through structured and play-based teaching
  • Respond to challenging behavior safely and consistently, using the plan your BCBA designs
  • Collect accurate data during every session and write clear session notes
  • Share how each session went with parents and caregivers
  • Take part in regular supervision and training with your BCBA

What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent, and at least 18 years old
  • Active RBT certification, or willingness to earn it with our training and support
  • Coursework or experience in psychology, education, child care or a related field is a plus
  • Patience, reliability and genuine enjoyment of working with kids
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for in-home and community sessions
  • Ability to pass a background check

What We Offer

  • $20–$30 per hour
  • Full-time and part-time schedules, with many different hours available
  • Training and RBT certification support for qualified applicants
  • Regular supervision and feedback from experienced BCBAs
  • Structured onboarding and ongoing mentorship
  • Annual performance reviews with a clear growth path
