About the Clinic
Our St. Peters clinic brings everything Archways ABA does under one roof. Children work one-on-one with a Registered Behavior Technician in a structured, purpose-built therapy space, practice social and play skills alongside peers, and move through a consistent daily routine — arrival, learning blocks, group time, meals, and pickup — where every transition is a teaching opportunity. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst designs each child's program, reviews the data collected in every session, and adjusts the plan as your child grows.
The clinic is the newest way to access Archways care, not a replacement for the rest of it. Families across St. Charles County can pair clinic programming with in-home ABA therapy to generalize skills into daily life, or lean on telehealth sessions for parent coaching between visits. Because it is all one clinical team, your child's plan follows them between settings. If you are still deciding which model fits, our center-based ABA overview explains who tends to do best in a clinic setting.
We're located on North St. Peters Parkway in St. Peters, a short drive for families in St. Charles, O'Fallon, Cottleville, Weldon Spring, Dardenne Prairie, Lake Saint Louis, and Wentzville.
What Happens Here
One location, a full continuum of care — from a first assessment through daily programming and parent support.
Our core program, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Structured 1:1 therapy blocks, small-group learning, peer play, and routine-based skill building across a full day, with data collected on every trial and a BCBA on the team throughout.
How center-based ABA works →For school-age children, therapy that fits around the school day. After-school sessions at the clinic focus on the skills that matter most once class lets out — homework routines, peer relationships, self-regulation, and independence.
Ask about after-school availability →Weekend programming for families who need flexibility beyond the weekday schedule, or who want to add hours without pulling a child out of school. Contact us for the current weekend schedule and openings.
Ask about weekend availability →Every child starts with a comprehensive assessment by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst — current skills, communication, daily living, and the goals that matter most to your family. It becomes the individualized treatment plan, and it's repeated regularly so the plan keeps pace with your child.
What the first month looks like →Small-group sessions where children practice turn-taking, conversation, cooperative play, and friendship skills with peers — the things that are hardest to teach one-on-one and easiest to learn alongside other kids, with a therapist guiding every interaction.
Ask about group openings →You'll learn the same strategies your child's team uses, so progress made at the clinic keeps going at home. Sessions are held at the clinic or by telehealth, whichever fits your week.
About parent training →Early intensive behavioral intervention for our youngest learners, delivered in the full-day program when early, consistent teaching matters most. Programs emphasize communication, play, daily living skills, and readiness for a classroom.
Recognizing early signs →When challenging behavior is getting in the way, a BCBA-led functional behavior assessment identifies why it's happening and builds a plan that actually addresses the cause. Conducted at the clinic as part of intake or whenever a plan needs a closer look.
About FBAs →Is the Clinic Right for Us?
Center-based programming is a strong fit for many children, but not every child, and we'll tell you honestly which model we'd recommend. The clinic tends to be the right call for children who:
Many families combine the clinic with in-home sessions so skills generalize to real life. Your BCBA will recommend the mix during your free intake, and it can change as your child progresses.
We accept Missouri Medicaid (MO HealthNet) and most major commercial plans. We verify your benefits for free before anything starts and explain your coverage in plain language.

Common Questions
Our core center-based program runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We also offer after-school programming for school-age children and weekend programs for families who need flexibility beyond the weekday schedule. Availability in the after-school and weekend programs varies, so contact us for the current schedule.
The St. Peters clinic primarily serves children ages 2 to 12. Our youngest learners, roughly ages 2 to 5, are typically enrolled in early intensive behavioral intervention during the full-day program. School-age children often attend after-school or weekend programming so therapy fits around their school day.
We accept Missouri Medicaid (MO HealthNet) and most major commercial insurance plans. Before your child starts, we verify your benefits at no cost and explain exactly what your plan covers. We respond to every inquiry within one business day.
Most insurance plans, including Missouri Medicaid, require an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis before they will cover ABA therapy. We do not provide diagnostic evaluations at the clinic. If your child has not been evaluated yet, ask your pediatrician for a referral or contact an evaluation center directly, such as the Thompson Center in Columbia or the St. Louis Center for Cognitive Health, and get on more than one waitlist. Once you have a diagnosis, our BCBA completes the ABA assessment that shapes your child's treatment plan.
Center-based sessions are drop-off, unlike in-home therapy where a parent must be present. You will receive a brief update from your child's team at pickup every day covering what was worked on and how it went. Parent training sessions, where you learn the same strategies your child's team uses, are scheduled separately, either at the clinic or by telehealth.
Yes, and many families do. Some children attend the clinic for intensive daytime programming and receive in-home sessions to work on skills in their natural environment. Others start at the clinic and transition toward home or school as they progress. Your supervising BCBA will recommend the mix that fits your child, and because all Archways services share one clinical team, nothing gets lost between settings.
Contact us by phone or through our consultation form. We verify your insurance benefits for free, then a Board Certified Behavior Analyst completes an assessment of your child's skills, needs, and goals and builds an individualized treatment plan. Once your plan is authorized, your child is matched with a therapist and begins on a schedule set by that plan. You are welcome to ask about visiting the clinic before enrolling.
